Please see below a list of control measures that MUST be followed to ensure that Dynamic Dance Studio runs in a safe manner.
For phase 2 of returning to the studio we have welcomed back all students ages 4+. For safety measures, we are not allowing any parents/guardians to enter or wait in the building and will be working on a drop off and collect system only. Unfortunately this means that we are not able to have under 4's in classes at this point. Also very young children will find it difficult to social distance so to keep health risks to a minimum this rule will stand under further notice.
Do not enter the studio if you have any COVID-19 symptoms. If your child develops Covid symptoms after attending a class, you must follow government guidance and have a test. If your child receives a positive result you MUST inform Dynamic Dance Studio immediately.
Prior to arriving, confirmation must be sought from the parent/guardian that their child has not been displaying any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
Track and Trace - We will be keeping a record of names and addresses for 21 days for NHS Track and Trace purposes. We will keep records securely and they will not be used for anything else. You must therefore consent to having your information shared with Track and Trace in order to attend the class and must confirm that you will self isolate for 14 days if asked to so by NHS Track and Trace.
On arrival Parent/Guardian must stay in the car with the student on the car park until a member of staff comes out and signals you to come and line up outside. You MUST therefore arrive on time in order for this to run smoothly.
On collection please arrive on time so that when the student finishes they can walk straight to the car.
Parents/Guardian cannot gather at the studio door, or enter the site (unless you have a pre-arranged appointment, which should be conducted safely).
Keep belongings to a minimum. Please arrive to the studio 'ready to go' in order to minimise use of changing and toilet facilities. Please do not get changed once here.
On arrival please stand on a star painted on the floor which will be allocated outside the building. Please remain here to keep your distance and stay here until a member of staff collects you.
Before entering the studio please wash your hands for 20 seconds or clean with anti-bacterial gel which will be provided on a table on entrance and exit.
Once in the studio please keep your distance and stand on a black circle sticker that will be clearly marked out on the floor to maintain adequate distance in line with current guidance. You must remain in your space.
Drinks are allowed but no food/eating in the building.
There will be 1 toilet assigned for emergencies and if anyone needs an accessible toilet, we can provide one with advance warning.
Covid-19 Awareness Posters are displayed in key locations around BYT to remind staff, parents and students how you can work together to try and keep everyone safe. Please abide by the rules.
In line with Government guidance a maximum of 15 students per class will be permitted until the guidance is revised. Therefore you MUST BOOK ON in order to secure your place.
A regular clean of the floor, touched surfaces, toilets, doors etc will be applied between classes. Therefore there will be a 10 minute break between classes to allow for this and the cross over of students leaving one class and the next arriving. A full deep clean will also take place daily ready for the next day.
Wearing a face covering or face mask in schools or other education settings is not recommended. Face coverings may be beneficial for short periods indoors where there is a risk of close social contact with people you do not usually meet and where social distancing and other measures cannot be maintained, for example on public transport or in some shops. This does not apply to schools or other education settings. Schools and other education or childcare settings should therefore not require staff, children and learners to wear face coverings. Changing habits, cleaning and hygiene are effective measures in controlling the spread of the virus. Face coverings (or any form of medical mask where instructed to be used for specific clinical reasons) should not be worn in any circumstances by those who may not be able to handle them as directed (for example, young children, or those with special educational needs or disabilities) as it may inadvertently increase the risk of transmission.
The majority of staff in education settings will not require PPE beyond what they would normally need for their work, even if they are not always able to maintain a distance of 2 metres from others. PPE is only needed in a very small number of cases including:
Thank you for your support and co-operation with the above. We really appreciate it.
